Power Protocols build on the foundations of Hero’s Breath and the teachings of Elemental Rhythm, integrating breath mechanics, rhythm, music, and nervous system literacy into a carefully facilitated experience.

How It Works

Power Up Protocol™ incorporates more activating breath patterns than the Power Down Protocol™, while maintaining a strong emphasis on self-regulation, choice, and pacing.

These patterns may support:

  • Increased circulation and oxygen delivery
  • Lymphatic movement through diaphragmatic motion
  • Heightened sensory awareness
  • Emotional processing and release
  • Expanded internal focus and insight

Responses vary from person to person. There is no expected outcome and no “correct” experience. The breath opens a door — what emerges is guided by the body’s readiness.

As with all Hero’s Breath sessions, music plays an integral role, helping participants stay embodied, present, and anchored in rhythm as intensity rises and falls.

  • Can notice and respond to signs of activation in their body
  • Are curious about deeper layers of self-exploration

This experience is often explored after completing Power Down Protocol™ or developing equivalent self-regulation skills through other somatic practices.

Who It Is Not For (Yet)

Power Up Protocol™ is not recommended for individuals who are currently experiencing:

  • Unmanaged anxiety or panic
  • Ongoing trauma responses
  • Nervous system instability
  • Difficulty returning to baseline after activation

For these individuals, starting with Power Down Protocol™ provides a safer and more supportive foundation. Expansion works best when regulation is already established.
